Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kaylana Lake, a man made lake which provide drinking water to the whole of Jodhpur. Around this beautiful lake there are many trekking point, hills, temples, small ponds surrounded with beautiful flora and fauna. This place is very good for early morning trekking be it solo or with friends.

Great place. Really admire the scientific thought of our ancestors who built this manmade lake for rain water harvesting many centuries ago to store water for Jodhpur cities needs. The lake parse is clean except at the edges where tourists visit which are very poorly maintained. The main area is all broken and dilapidated and full of garbage thrown by tourists which no one has either bothered to clean and impose rules strictly. One gets really put off at this. Had it been a foreign country this site would have been a bestseller. The lake has shallow hills on all sides with scrub and offers great view. We could see many migratory birds in the lake. The lake has a speed boat and one normal boat for tourists and some eateries. The infrastructure is in real shambles. If u isolate from this, the drive on the road atop the hilltops along the lake periphery especially around dawn is great. Camel ride and pony rides are advertised as available but we couldnot find any camels or ponies. Free parking was avbl

I visited the lake from Jodhpur City as I seen it on the list of things to do nearby.
Personally, I did not enjoy my visit here. It did not look like the photos online.
I had a 20 minute boat ride around the lake which cost approx £1.20 per person. There is nothing to see from the boat accept litter on the grassy banks.
There is nothing around the lake to do, other than a small zip wire width was closed.

Kaylana lake is famous among locals. The waters come to this lake now days not only from the rain collection from the small hills but also from the indira gandhi canal. Boating to this area has been on and off. If you are tourist it is slightly off from the main cities situated between small hills. It is a beautiful place to visit in rains. However it can be avoided. Now days tourist do a boat ride in Gulab Sagar which is situated in heart of the city near clock tower.

A beautiful lake sarounded by hills. This is a huge man made lake now used for water supply to jodhpur. Having a ride on parallel rode on a rainy day will take you to another world.

It is one of the scenic site places in Jodhpur and one of the biggest lakes in Rajasthan. It supplies water to most part of the city.Garden along with lake attracts people a lot and that is why it is one of the crowded place in Jodhpur.
I went with my family and enjoyed the cool breeze of the lake.

Basically it is a Picnic spot and still under development. The lake is nice but nothing special. I am not sure what will happen in future, but at this moment you can give it a pass and advance on the road. You won't miss that much if you do not visit. Still, if you visit, it won't be taking much of your time,15minswould be enough, in my humble opinion.

It is located at outer part of jodhpur, making it little difficult to reach.
Lake is also not that great it's more dirty.
It has one garden also but not developed at all.
Out side u can see some local ice cream and snacks shop but better not to eat from there.
Over all not worth going.
