Don't miss it if you are going to the Mehrangarh fort - it is a short walk at the other end. Takes about 10 extra minutes.

It's a very well maintained beautiful temple located in a picturesque surrounding. The idol of Devi Chamunda who is a manifestation of Goddess Shakti is mesmerizing. The temple was crowded when we visited in the morning. It's necessary to keep sufficient time to have a fulfilling darshan.

Chamunda Mata Temple is located on top of the Mehranghar fort. It offers spectacular views of Jodhpur city, the blue city and the Umaid Bhavan Palace. The best time to visit is at sunrise. It is a long walk up so make sure you wear comfortable footwear. This Temple is a rich part of the fort history.

The Temple is located right on top of the fort and provides stunning views. One can see the whole city from here. However it is a long walk up. So start from the temple at sunrise and see the fort on the way down.

The temple is situated at the top of the fort. The temple and it surroundings were nice and calm. You get a good view of the blue city from here.
