This shop is managed by sisters in a large market area and they are locally known as the INDIAN SPICE GIRLS.
What a fabulous shop to get your spices.
Very organised and tidy and all the various spices were packaged in sealed bags.
We met Priya who was incredibly helpful in advising us what spices were suitable to our tastes and what we were able to bring back into Australia plus a few extra tips, but you will have to ask her about that . They have a huge selection and can package various amounts as to your own requirements. The prices were excellent.
We have used a couple of the spice blends since we have come back to Australia, namely the Maharaja Curry and the Butter chicken and they are delicious.
I thoroughly recommend checking out the Indian Spice girls (MV Spices) store as you won't be disappointed.

This was such a worthwhile visit. Not only did we load up on wonderful spices to take home, but we chatted with one of the Daughters Priya, who shared her family's story. This inspirational family are mocked and abused by many in this male dominated street market but their resolve to honour their father is truly inspiring. There will be a documentary released soon featuring the story.

Wonderful spice shop! Priya treated us super well, gave us tea 2 times and tbm a tea of cardamom, cinnamon and saffron. This last I bought 3 packages of so good! We arrived here in India with the idea of returning home bringing us some spices and flavors of this hospitable and kind tera. Chai tea is among the drinks I like the most and I thank our guide Tarun for recommending this small shop run by a courteous and kind woman. We came here in advice of our travel guide, because I really enjoy some good masala chai tea, and I wanted to buy some spices. It turned out to be one of the most interesting activity during out travel through rajasthan. We were welcomed friendly and Priya was showing us the most interesting spices India has to offer. She also teached us how to detect good and fake safran and gave mit advice for how to make some good masala tea. And for me as a woman I really loved to see women getting independent in India, because in this country it is not typical for woman to be independent. If you are in Jodhpur, don’t forget to check there places, because if you don’t, you miss a big opportunity to adventure some new spices and meet really nice people.
