What a wonderful morning! Chhotaram was a fantastic host (and has a great sense of humour too). A great balance of activities. Our children (aged 17, 14 and 11) loved the baby goats, and we loved meeting so many hospitable, gracious people. If you only have a short time in Jodhpur, make this trip a priority! Very highly recommended.

Shambhu and Chotturam were both very gracious hosts. Strongly recommend if you have some time to spend in Jodhpur and are getting a little tired of forts and historic buildings. We saw a few blackbucks in the wild which was a nice treat. The handicrafts on display are very beautiful.

We did the village tour and camel safari in December 2016 and enjoyed both. We visited a small village and the people we met (if only 2) were very friendly. An older lady invited us to sit next to her in her mud hut and we watched her bake fresh Indian bread. We also saw and stopped for some animals... More

If you come to Jodhpur you have to do this safari. We went in the afternoon with only the guide do to the morning being booked out. After going in the afternoon I would highly recommend this time. We were able to see many different kinds of wild life. Then we headed to the different villages to experience the village... More

This village tour is unlike any other. It's real, from the heart and extremely authentic. You're driven around several villages getting to see the Craftsmanship and specialties within each. If you purchase any goods, the money spent goes directly to the villagers instead of middleman or high-priced tourist shops in the city. Not only that you're getting to see the... More

Let me make this simple for you... if you are in Jodhpur for 1 day and there is only one thing you could do, or only one place you can visit, please do not think twice, especially if you are travelling with family and have children. Go for this tour. This will be a trip that you will remember for... More

I was picked up by Shambhu at 8:00AM in front of the clock tower. After a quick briefing in a very good English, we started the day and visited few villages (Shepard village, pottery village, bishnoi village and Shambhu village). I always felt welcome and there was no awkward feeling like "I'm the white guy coming to disturb the locals... More

Choturam and his family arrange for the best village safari. We were two, picked with convenience by Choturam's brother Shambhuram and taken to some lovely village interiors, spotted blackbucks, did pottery and learnt weaving at their home. The safari ended with home cooked food by Choturam's wife which was finger licking! I recommend this to anyone who is planning a... More

Chhotu was a wonderful guide, and we learned so much on this tour about the culture and history of the area. The people we met were welcoming and hospitable and pleased to show us their village homes. We saw traditional potters, weavers and his wife cooked a home made meal in front of us and we all sat down together... More

My husband and I booked the village safari which goes from 8am to 1pm. We booked it after reading the great reviews on Tripadvisor. What can I say, the previous reviews were on point. The tour is authentic and all in all a very enriching cultural experience. We both had a lot of questions (why the different coloured turbans, what... More
