We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. You cook in Rikkha's family kitchen. We met her children, husband and mother in law. This all aided to the very authentic experience that we had. Rikkha teaches you about the foods health benefits as well as practical recipes that you can cook when you are home. If there is anything in particular you... More

We so enjoyed our cooking experience at Spice Paradise - especially our children aged 9, 11 and 13 years! Rikha showed us into her home and her beautiful, well organised kitchen, stocked with all sorts of spices. She was very warm and friendly and told us a little about her own family and their business. Then we all received copies... More

I was only there for half an hour and I was so sad to leave, the family is so wonderful and kind with so many good quality spices to choose from! I learned how to make chai and bought to many wonderful spices to take back to South Africa! I will be back soon for a cooking lesson. If you're... More

Very authentic cooking class! We learned to make chai, naans and several Indian dishes. But best part of the class was the teacher, a super kind, passionate, well English speaking lady.

The lady of the family was very helpful and lovely with us, making some chai and showed how to make some curry even not being during a cooking class. Products are excelents. Prices reasonable with not much possibility of bargain.

We didn't do a cooking class, nor had we read about Spice Paradise anywhere. On our way back from the market we stumbled upon Rikkha's gorgeous pink doorway and - mistaking it for a pharmacy - wandered in. The fact that we stumbled upon it made the experience even more magical. Rikkha welcomed us into her kitchen, showed us some... More

Know your prices before hand and don't be put off by the noise or smells. Buying a few items rather than one is a good way to save. As long as the spices are packaged properly you can bring them into Australia

A friend and I booked onto a cooking class here after reading other reviews on TripAdvisor. The reviews didn't lie. We had a great time cooking in the family house making a Biriani, Ratia, Paneer dish, bread and lassi. The host was very friendly and the food tasted amazing. All participants get a list of recpes to take home and... More
