Bantu’s walking tour was one of the highlights of our time in Jodhpur. He is passionate about his city and it shows in the way his eyes light up when he shares a story about jodhpur’s past or when he leads his guests into a special lane in the old city. We joined Bantu’s tour with our family of 2 adults and 4 children (ages 12. 10, 7 and 5) and he was very patient with our children, trying to keep them engaged throughout the tour. The hours we spent with him felt like having a local friend in Jodhpur who couldn’t wait to show us around. Highly recommended!

Group trip, we had our Indian guide who took us to discover Rajasthan. In Jodhpur ("Jodh" was the founder, "Pur" city) we entered the blue city, wanted by the Maharaja to distinguish the caste of the Brahmin priests (system then ABOLISHED by Ghandi) of blue color. Brahmins Brahmins priests, kshatriyas Military warriors, Vai Syas Merchants craftsmen Sudras, Pariahs Untouchable garbage). I have been impressed with electrical wires on this part of the city.... a dangerous network, the color of well-painted houses is joyful and this sign of recognition brings me back to the time when the Fort was communicated by means of drum rolls, reflective mirrors and night fires.... an unforgettable charm of the past.....

Prabhat's tour of Jodhpur was an absolute delight! His early morning start allowed us to beat the crowds and traffic, making for a more peaceful and enjoyable experience. We ventured to local monuments and delved into the old town, uncovering a hidden side of the city that I never knew existed. Prabhat's vast knowledge of Rajasthan's culture, history, and general trivia was truly impressive. His gentle and considerate nature made me feel safe and well-cared for throughout the tour. Along the way, he introduced me to authentic chai tea cafes and treated me to delicious samosa. Thanks to Prabhat, my time in Jodhpur was nothing short of wonderful and unforgettable!

Great walking tour with Prabhat! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the region, and was able to show us different types of wells, the old blue city spots etc which we wouldn’t have found otherwise. He also treated us to some Indian snacks and sweets, and we had a great time overall. Would highly recommend

Last week I went on a tour in jodhpur guided by Bantu. I really enjoyed the tour. Bantu was a very friendly guy, and he had shown us a lot of nice places in the city. He took the time to explain a lot of things about the city and reply to any questions we had.

A million thanks to Bantu who was an excellent guide for my whole family (grandparents to 7 year old!). He has a deep understanding of Jodhpur history & culture, and we were happy to hear all his insights of the magical Blue City! The tour includes snacks and the most delicious chai you’ll ever have! Bantu even provided shop suggestions for sparkly bangles for my kids and Jodhpuri masala tea to take back home! And coordinated an auto (tuk tuk) to the tour and back to our hotel. Thank you so much, Bantu!

From the moment we met Bantu, the owner of Walk to BlueCity Heritage Tours we knew we were going to be in good hands. He guided us through the history of the blue city with consummate ease, answering our many questions and introducing some of the hidden treasures of the blue city we would not have discovered on our own. Bantu is thoroughly professional, knowledgable and a delight to be in the company of. An excellent tour and an excellent guide.

The tour with Bantu was absolutely worth it! I travel alone and as a woman I felt very comfortable with him. I usually avoid touring because most of them are not very worthwhile. But Bantus is worth the money! Bantu is very professional, has a broad knowledge of Jodhpur and India and has come up with a wonderful tour of the Blue City with nice spots for photos. Not too long, not too short and the whole thing connected with sympathetic lightness.
Absolute recommendation!

I have known Bantu for many years now, and he loves his Blue City more than any other place on Earth. So it makes total sense that he would become a licensed guide and start a business showing off the oldest and best parts of his beloved Jodhpur. Bantu is a man of great pride and integrity, and he genuinely wants you to fall in love with this spectacular place. On his walks, he will reveal all the secret places, all the local haunts. He will take you to the best chai stands and shopping spots, show off the stunning architecture and history of the old city, and introduce you to the many kind locals who call him friend. Without question, you will not spend a more enjoyable couple of hours with anyone else, and his tours will be an unforgettable addition to your visit. When you contact him, and you definitely should, tell him Stacia sent you.
