This was a pleasant experience, although the town was abandoned for sad reasons. A good opportunity to see traditional desert homes and walk thru a quiet place away from crowds.

A kuldhara is village which is famous like ghost area. This village is so old and it's story is superb & haunted.

This place is also very haunted because the story of kuldhara was was so hunting and the room and houses not developed since the village has been left by people.

This place has some historical facts, which are difficult to confirm but are shared by locals. These abandoned houses are getting a facelift to create interest of tourists.

As others confirmed that there is an entry fee to Visit it. We t would not cost you more time as it is almost on your way to Sand Dunes. Just 4 to 5 kms off the main highway so you can spare approx 30 to 40 mins off your... More

The village is between Sam dunes and Jaisalmer city. I would recommend you to visit this village while on your way back from Sam. I would recommend you to carry food or travel back to Jaisalmer for any kind of refreshments
