Faced with the logistical complexity of putting together a viable 2 week tour of Rajastan, we reached out to TGIR.
Not only did they knit together a tour that (with relatively little direction) ticked all of our boxes in terms of quality, downtime and travelling options, but they also made a couple of helpful amendments to our original plans.
The guides were all knowledgeable, interesting and helpful and our driver transported us around brilliantly.
Karan pulled all this together with only a few weeks' notice.
All-in-all, an excellent trip that created life-long memories.

Dear Tim, Thank you so much for giving us a positive feedback. I personally love to work with the informed travelers. You were one of them. In-fact, you introduced me to such beautiful property near Ranakpur. I would love to host you guys again :) Kind regards, Karan & Team TGIR

3 of us (me, my husband and my colleague) were in Chennai for business trip and we asked THE Grand Indian Route (the GIR) to organise weekend (3 days trip) to Kerala region.

We were surprised of quality and professionality level of all organization:

-our expectations and preferences were carefully listened and fulfilled.
-selected HOTELS &Boathouse (we stayed at 3 different places that weekend) were really nice and luxury (stylish, clean, authentic with ‘wow’ effect)
-trip planned was carefully planned and perfect in terms of intensity and types of activities.
-the DRIVER who was with us all 3 days - was very professional - his English was good &easily understandable, he had many interesting things, stories to share with us, he knew answers to all our questions, he had good ‘sense’ which places could be interesting for us to stop on the way to planned activities, he was friendly and professional.

CONSTANT CARE and COMMUNICATION- All the time during the trip and before the trip communication was proper and of high level- we were provided by all needed details. All the time we felt like travel Company honestly cares about us and just want us to enjoy India in general (not just Kerala part, but Chennai part and India in general).
Few examples:
a) We flew in Kerala from Chennai for weekend trip late at night so we were going from airport directly to the hotel and the trip itself should start next morning. So the driver could just take us to the hotel from the airport, but we were met at airport by the driver and a guide who took us to hotel and made check in for us, explained all the plan for the next days trip, was very attentive and veeery caring;
b) I told to the guide in Kerala that I dream about Saree to wear next week for my business dinner, so he organised sticher 2 hours before our flight to Chennai!!(you can see the picture of this. Blouse by the way was perfectly stiched!)
c) Our guide organized us a ride in a public transport just right after we asked for unique local experience (and that was veeery much fun and definitely unique)
d) My husband and colleague were already hungry I was dreaming about shopping in some local shop few hours before flight back to Chennai, I told this my dream to guide, so he organised guys nice restaurant and for me super nice local shop for shopping :)

These are just few examples, but whole trip was really magic!

I honestly think , that the fact that we had contact of the Grand Indian Route Travel agency during all visit in India made us feel safer, cared and like we can ask any advice (from where to shop or which taxi Company to take to what gifts to take to local colleagues) not only from the trip's part which they were hired for ( we hired them only for 3 days, but whole business trip was 2 weeks).

I am 100% sure that next time we will come to India- we again will use service of this travel agency !

It has been a great success to hire our tour of Rajasthan with The Grand Indian Router. From the first contact, the negotiation and definition of the trip have been clear and concise, and the quality of the service exceeded our expectations. The vehicle was always clean and in good condition, and the driver very professional. We would certainly repeat. Thanks to our driver Divakar and our trip manager Karan.

Earlier this year, I skydived in Pokhara with a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. This experience was organized by The Grand Indian Route. It was flawless from start to finish!
A big thank you goes to this company for organizing this event so well.

They provided us with excellent service from the moment we landed in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at the airport, we were picked up, driven to the hotel, and their staff was always available to assist us with anything we needed.
Even the restaurants where we ate were excellent!

We had an amazing skydiving experience, and the mountain view was breathtaking.
There's no better view than jumping with such a view. I highly recommend everyone to do it at least once.
Having a team of experienced instructors, made the sky diving process great.

The experience was amazing and unforgettable, thanks to The Grand Indian Route and
I would highly recommend The Grand Indian Route for your visit to Nepal

The Grand Indian Route helped us plan our trip to Rajasthan and we had a wonderful experience.

So far we have booked almost everything with TGIR and they have arranged everything for us at an extremely competitive price.

We were very pleased with the driver's politeness and knowledge, as well as his willingness to listen to what we wanted.
We requested 5-star hotels, and all of the hotels in Rajasthan were 5-star hotels, surpassing our expectations. The desert camp at Jaisalmer was also excellent.
As we really wanted to do some adventure activities, the team arranged some for us. In general, we enjoyed elephant activities the most. Our trip was also guided by an excellent guide. In addition to taking photos for us, he explained almost everything to us. It could be said that he was the Indian Wikipedia.

As part of our 10-day trip, we visited the Taj Mahal, traveled to Rajasthan, Jaipur, Udaipur, Delhi, and Agra, and explored offbeat locations like Rusirani village and the Desert Camp at Jaisalmer.

Definitely worth recommending.
We appreciate you making our journey memorable once again

Having never been to India before, we were looking for some information about the place. In the end, we decided to book the Rajasthan tour with The Grand Indian Route because of all the excellent reviews we had read. Although we had looked at other tours, the trip was quite long and we did not have a lot of time to spend on it.

Our first contact with The Grand Indian Route was very positive. They offered us some options that looked very attractive, and we were very impressed by the skeleton itinerary sent by Karan. In the end, we decided the golden triangle was the right choice for our trip. This included Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodpur, Udaipur, and Delhi, as well as the desert camp and Taj Mahal. It was absolutely perfect.
There were no problems with the arrangements, and the hotels and visits were exactly as described.

Our driver met us at the airport and was so kind and knowledgeable. We requested a 5-star category hotel with Karan and what he provided was excellent. We met our personal tour guide the next day, who was with us throughout the trip. We even met his family in Jaipur during our trip, which was not included in our itinerary. Thanks to Vijendra for that.

Overall, it was a great experience. We had an unforgettable trip to India.
I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone! It was amazing!

We are just returning from 15 days in India, including Rajasthan and Kerala, and wanted to share our experiences. Over the course of 9 days, we visited Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ranakpur, and Udaipur, then flew to Kochi and visited Munnar, Kumarakom, Allepey houseboat, and Marari beach. For the trip, (The Grand Indian Route) provided the car and driver

Kerala was on our minds, but we weren't sure whether to include it or keep it for another trip. It was suggested to us by many people that we spend more time in Rajasthan because we were trying to do too much. We are a couple in our 30s who have traveled extensively, usually independently. We like to be busy on holiday, so in the end, we went to both regions, and we are so glad we did. They were so different it was like going to 2 countries!

It was amazing to see all the forts, palaces, and temples in Rajasthan. There was a kind of sensory overload that has to be experienced in person to truly appreciate - the hustle and bustle, the smells, colors, and noise. As we had been to Asia before, we were prepared for what we would experience in India if we went straight there. Yes, there are cows, dogs, camels, elephants, people, cars, and rickshaws everywhere, but this just makes the journeys more interesting. The people were very friendly, smiling and waving, wanting to take our photo as much as we wanted to take theirs.

After visiting the classic Golden Triangle, we were glad we opted to visit Jodhpur and Udaipur as these cities were very different. Although the sites in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur were great, the cities were just so busy and people often pestered us to buy things, whereas in Jodhpur we sat on rooftops and wandered the markets with no hassle at all. A stay in Ranakpur was a welcome rural retreat and allowed us to relax a bit and see more of the rural way of life. Udaipur was great to hang out on a rooftop and look at the lake. Towards the end of the 9 days, we felt we had seen a lot and, to be honest, I think we were probably a bit "palaced out" by the time we got to Udaipur, so it felt like the perfect time to head South.

So then off to Kerala - totally different, lush green palm trees everywhere. The pace here seemed more relaxed, less chaotic, and the standard of living higher. A stay in Munnar with its zillions of tea plantations offered amazing scenery; A night by Vembanad lake, a houseboat stay, and a time at the beach offered opportunities to relax and watch the local life pass by.

The standard of all hotels was very good, and the food was no problem (even for 2 fussy eaters). We ate mainly in hotels or decent restaurants which all had a good choice, and we didn't get any upset stomachs. Having a driver allowed us to see so much in this short time.

We really can't say which bit we preferred, they were so different. We enjoyed the amazing historical sites and chaotic atmosphere of Rajasthan, just never knowing what we would see, smell or hear next! And the relaxation and scenery of Kerala allowed us to unwind a bit at the end of a busy trip.

Throughout the tour, I was blown away by everything! The Grand Indian Route is definitely worth considering and I'd love to travel with them again in the near future.

All in all it was indeed a very good experience with The Grand Indian Route.
While on this tour, we visited many interesting places in India! It was a pleasure to have three different tour guides in three different cities. All of them were very personable, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all of our questions. Also, they had very proficient photography skills and could take beautiful photographs, but among the three of our guides, Mr. Vijendra was our favorite, he was not only an excellent driver but was also a very knowledgeable person. We enjoyed our time in the car with him because of his friendly attitude. Excellent customer service, flexibility, and promptness were displayed by Karan and his team. Our group included three generations of our family members and we were not interested in the shopping part of the tour at all but wanted to include Step Wells. No pressure was applied and our itinerary was changed without any problems. Personalized to our needs, our tour was excellent. Our choice was five-star hotels, and we were impressed with them. The first hotel we stayed at in Agra was delightful. This tour was amazing from beginning to end! Everyone should take this tour! I would highly recommend it!

Upon reading about TGIR company reviews, we decided to book our tour from US, and the service was amazing from the moment we contacted them.

I had no problem with anything. After listening to what we wanted, they created an itinerary that met our interests. It was a pleasure to stay in all of the hotels we selected specifically for our needs and requirements.

It was a pleasure to be welcomed and we had no complaints. Driver Vijendra and tour guide Manish were excellent and professional. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle, and the amount of comfort it offered.

We had a wonderful experience with the staff. We cannot say enough about how attentive they were. The kids also enjoyed their time with them. Definitely looking forward to booking with them again.

The trip to Rajasthan was amazing and we have many wonderful memories to cherish. This company offers a unique tour experience. The best I've ever seen.
