This is a rock cut cave temple on the hill lock of udayagiri on the eastern side of the city and so the name udaya+giri.the place is reachable but its advicable to wear good shoes and caps and carry water.

The caves are just astonishing. The whole place will give a brief view of the ancient culture and religious view of jainism. Proper maintenance has been taken to conserve the place.

Udayagiri Caves is situated at Khandagiri Road, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India and one of the most beautiful caves is India.

Very nice visit to Udaygiri caves with my parents! The sculptures are exquisite and worth a long look! There are of course steps involved but it is worth it!

Was taken by a friend in his car. It’s not far away from the airport, you can hire a taxi or cab also
