Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

However we heard the story that some two buses had a 100 feet drop earlier - which resulted in the authorities come up with the rule that the parking should be lower on the hill. The Dauli peace pagoda has no entry fee. So, that's great.

This beautiful monument on top of a hill in white, is a Buddhist shrine very well maintained. As the name sounds, this place is where emperor Ashoka had his transformation from war to peace. It is quite serene and fulfilling to visit this monument.

During our year end trip to Odisha (Dec'17), got to visit Dhauli Peace Pagoda located at Dhaulagiri Hills. The stupa is a major attraction not only for the Buddhists, also draws Hindus, Christians, Muslims and people of other faiths for its architectural splendour.

It is one of the most attractive place in Bhubaneswar. This place is situated on the top of the hill. It has many ancient Buddha stones which tell their life stories.

You can see the Daya river, scene of brutal battles in the Kalinga wars (261 BC). King Ashoka, influenced by love, then converted to Buddhism and this distinctive temple is in his memory and is dedicared to peace, with many buddhist carvings.
