If you are in Pune, you should try to visit this place. Try going in the early hours of the morning... Say before 9 AM. You get good breakfast to eat along with dahi and kulfi. Please is serene and cold breeze could be felt.

Locals who chant and worship Shivaji - should ask for better maintenance of Shivaji's beautiful forts, instead of reservations. There are so many illegal shops opened on the fringes of the fort's base camp that visitors just don't get to take in the views.

U should go in a vehicle with more power to climb up the hill. I don't recommend to go by scooty. Weekends are the days where maximum crowd is expected. So, I don't think it will be closed. Enjoy the place !!
