Whilst you can't go into the inner sanctum unless you're a Hindu, the complex is totally worth a visit.

Ancient temple, blessed to have visited this temple twice during our stay in Varkala. In this temple, poojas are offered to the dead ancestors.

An old temple with an interesting history about a Dutch captain who donated the ship's bell when it sank without any loss of life. Foreigners are not allowed inside.

Very peaceful temple in the city heart of varkala. At night the place is lit with candles and the sight is just to watch. There is limited crowd so you can fully enjoy this.
