If you are in the area its certainly worth a visit, there are some fascinating pieces in there and its all very well explained by the interesting lady who runs the place.

Bayisland driftwood museum located at kumarakom is a small museum but very informative and the lady who explains about the thing's have good knowledge of all . It is a worth to see

To be honest I found the passion of the curator (Mrs. Punnose) much more unique and worth admiring as compared to the items on display. This is not to take from those items their beauty and exquisiteness. You definitely would not find such items leave...More

This is an amazing place. It is one of a kind. Make sure to meet Raji Madam. She is the curator. The collection is excellent. Do not miss it while you are in Kumarakom.
