Locals hang out here. The fishing nets, beach, fish market are all here. There are several vendors selling goods for the locals and tourists alike.

Quite place in fort kochi. The vasco da Gama church was a new find for me and to know that ther Portuguese explorer was first buti d in this church. His mortal remains were later moved to Lisbon. The church is an old Portuguese church...More

Its the center at the heart of the tourist places in Kochi. But it could be maintained well, shopping prices are high.

Happened to be here with friends for beach walk. A lots of people especially in the evening. Chinese Net are at close distance. A lot of street vendors for foods and souvenirs. Bit dirty.

Basic Dr Gama square was all I hoped it wou!d be. So much history & the atmosphere was amazing. The guides in the area were so knowledgeable which increased the experience.
