This museum was great. It was a bit said to see the shape of some of the stuff and almost anything you could buy. They told us it was a private owner and they were having trouble with funding. But this had amazing folklore pieces of southern India. It was very cool to see.

While in Kochi we got a chance to see the Kerala Folklore Museum, it was fantastic. It's a massive building with full of artifacts, specially the theatre. It is full of paintings. Really worth a visit.

The museum has a very good collection of artifacts. They have all the traditional collection from boat, paintings, jewellery, armoury, utensils, etc. A worth visit place. Its close to the ferry station, where you can chose to go to Fort Kochi by boat.

Built from various pieces and parts collected from old original Kerala houses. Sadly we arrived too early and it was closed but would loved to have gone inside!

This museum is privately run. Gives an interesting insights of some old artefacts of Kochi. Foreigners will have to pay for higher entry ticket price of Rs200.
