This place is located at the heart of the town and is beautifully constructed. The dasara procession starts from here and its a feast to watch. You need an hour to see around this place. Usually its not crowded.

Very majestic and Reflecting.. absolutely neat and clean.. well organized, easy to move around and music adds to the experience..sets an example to the North and East which cannot boast of such meticulous maintenance

Its very neatly maintained and should be visited in the evening with all the lights on. Peaceful place to sit and spend some time. They offer prasad as well in the evening !! Yummmy !! They offered sweet poha, rava kesari, watermelon juice.banana..

The temple's main deity is lord Shiva. There are also shrines dedicated to Shiridi Sai Baba and Hanuman. There are also 4 marriage halls in the complex.

Must visit temple during Dussehra. Lighting is fantastic and there are various religious processions and displays that happens herein. The temple is very big and fantastically maintained.

kamat residency @murdeshwar is good to stay n u can get a lot of vehicles @manglore (woodland circle) for the tour. dont forget to bargain the fare

May be about 3 to 4 kilometers from both places. In Mangalore, distance is not a problem.
