Lovely roads and the place is amidst the clouds. Leave for the place in the morning and come back for lunch. Because it gets damn cold in the evenings in December. Keep ID proofs for going to this place as the police ask for it(They keep the originals with them until you return) before you enter the location.

this place is over rated. possibly a solace to young people to use up some energy in climbing. this peak supposedly is the highest in karnataka--but there is nothing done to make it more attractive and appealing.

Highest peak in Chikmagalur region. One has to climb 500 odd steps to reach the summit.Would not be a loss if given a miss. Not a spectacular view from the top either.
