Sometime good to pay visit to animals, must try the jungle safari. Carry water bottle, cap, Bangalore is too sunny during day time irrespective of whether sessions you visit.

They charge 500rs per head for safari in an AC van. On the safari you will see animals that are chained in the forest like atmosphere. They had white tigers and many wild animals but I felt it a waste of time looking at how sad the animals were.

The safari is the showstopper. While the National Park is relatively small, it benefits the tourists as they can see semi-wildlife up close. A good morning activity if you are in town.

25+ km from majestic/kampegowda bus station, bangalore (Bus No.- 365 AC/Non AC- good service) will take you to this national park front gate. Just take the Grand Safari ticket (Combo) for Rs. 260/pp and hop on to the front seats of the green colored bus to get the best view (crowded on weekends and holidays). Keep quiet and enjoy the... When I tell stories to kids; they lose interest on hearing terms like jungle, forest, wild animals, huge trees etc., This is because they have not experienced any of these in own their life times. So I make it a point to take kids aged between 5 & 10 years to Bannerghatta National Park during vacations and simply allow them... More

In favour: 1. Get to close look at animals 2. Kids surely will love the place Against: 1. Rude staff and workers 2. Animals look dull Verdict : Visit if you haven't been to any other zoo or safari
