This lake was surreal. The villagers were hospitable even though living conditions were harsher than pangong. The lake was half frozen and perfect reflections could be caught in other half

Truly awesome and spectacular scenery. Truly awful and avoidable infrastructure with a near complete lack of hotels, electricity or medical facilities (critical at that altitude).

If you have 5 days, you must cut Tso moriri lake out. It's too far from the other places in your trip.Of course it's possible but you will visit every places just for a short time. Not recommended.

It is true. After mid September most of hotels are closed and roads were also not to travel. Sept 1st week is good, cheap and not very cold. in 10-12 days you could see most of everything.
