If you're looking for some downtime and want to rejuvenate yourself by indulging in some soul searching - just head to Tso Moriri and hit one of the hills on the banks where some of the migrants stay. You'll find yourself humbled by the sheer beauty and this wonder of nature. Snow capped mountains, crystal blue waters and clouds dancing... More

While most people and guides/hotels Dnt encourage tourists to go to lake moriri however is splendour and breath taking landscape can be explained only on visiting. Between May to Aug you will find many tent accommodations there however normal rooms are very few in fact just 3 good places with rooms.. The rooms and hotels are very basic but people... More

Visited Ladakh - 15th -26th Sep 2016. From Spangmik (Pangong Lake) we used the "road less travelled" to Tso Moriri lake (~ 14,500ft) - via Chusul. This is an amazing route (no road; much sandy trails) with greats scenery. Approx 260 kms, took 8 hours (Innova car) incl stops for photos, tea and lunch. The best decision - we stayed... More

This is not so famous lake, but you have to visit it to believe it - that this is the best of LEH. Our trip was awesome to place. All facilities available here.

Tso Moriri didn't overwhelm me with its beauty or ambiance. It was nice but I didn't get any wow factor. Given the option, I'd prioritise Pangong over Moriri. I found the village of Karzok one of my least favourite in Spiti/Ladakh. The people are friendly but the accom is overpriced (I guess understandable given the remote location) and the village... This Lake is a fresh water lake situated almost on the Border with China on the east side of Ladakh. The lake is about 225 km from Leh and the road to it is not very good, taking over 7 hours of driving. The Lake and its surrounding Mountains are very beautiful and worth all the effort to reach there.... More

TSO MORIRI is the lake 210 kms from leh. Only 2-3% tourist from leh visit the lake so you can say it is one of the most silent, beautiful place around. There are a lot of homestays in Karzok village which is adjacent to the lake. And few tents are also available but staying in homestays is advisable because of... More

This is a beautiful lake, surrounded by snow peaks. We drove from Pangong to Tso Moriri in the afternoon, hence ended up reaching Tso Moriri at almost 10pm. Watching sunrise around the lake is a beautiful experience. The reflections of the mountains on the lake is mesmerizing! The village Karzok on the banks of the lake is quite crowded and... More

One should visit this place during Leh visit. Though Pangyong is biggest lake in this region but this lake has its own characteristics. Sweet water is most amazing of all of them. View point, Monastery etc was super cool place to visit.
