Mansabal lake has got its name from Mansarovar lake. It is know as one of the deepest lake of srinagar. It is not exactly in srinagar, but 30Km away from srinagar. Worth a visit.

Visited the with extended family comprising of seniors, teenagers and young children. The lake as such was serene and beautiful. We went from the back side after visiting the submerged Siva temple. The person at the entrance was very rude and asked us to pay or go away. We would have paid but it was not written there that it... More

It is one of the deepest lakes of Kashmir. The large growth of Lotus at the periphery of the lake ( blooms during July & Aug )adds to the beauty of the lake . It is one of the largest natural ground for aquatic birds in Kashmir &... More

If you have seen the Dal lake, then this lake can be skipped. Mid sized lake. Peaceful ambience since travelers crowd is less. Shikara ride is available here.

They charge you Rs.50/- or 100/- per head being a outsider tourist & for Local Crowd its Rs.20/- & moreover the local crowd does not bother to take tickets, they just jump over fence and go inside............. the... This is a wonderful place and should not be missed on a Srinagar Trip. It's not far from Srinagar and also very less crowded. You will see only local tourists visiting. Our driver said that the last time he visited the lake was with the school trip :-) But, lake is very nice. Calm and serene. Just like Dal Lake... More
