Conflictorium is a museum with conflict as a central idea. Everything one watches / experiences on a visit to this place is created around the various kinds of conflicts that arise all around us every day (not just communal conflict). The exhibits are aimed towards making you feel and think about conflicts and ideas surrounding it. The museum is housed... More

Conflictorium is a unique kind of museum because unlike other museums, visitors are encouraged to touch, open and see things exhibited here. This is a socio cultural institution that makes a visitor not only a passive viewer, but also an active participant. Mirzapur is a place where people of different religions cluster. Conflictorium will offer programmes like 'understanding conflict in... More

This museum situated in old city of ahmedabad. It is for the people who have very special interest in art. They also provide space for exhibition also. Inside the rooms you find "sorry tree", auditorium in different look way.

The place is so different and so so so much more than what you would perceive it as. A very humble entrance leads you to information, pictorials, posters, audios and videos designed and composed so creatively and intelligently; subtly making you think about the various conflict of interests and justice. The owner of the place, a very talented female, is... More

Firstly, identifying the Conflictorium took us a lot of time as there are hardly any sign-boards and just a small little board outside a dingy looking building to indicate its location. None of the auto drivers too had heard of the place, which added to our woes. But we finally got there and it was a museum divided into different... More

The 'Conflictorium' is India's first participatory museum that revolves around the theme of conflict. Using art as a medium, the museum has managed to create a space which allows the visitor to engage in a process of meaning making. The various installations in the museum have moved me so that being inside the building completely diminishes the effect of the noisy/fast... The Conflictorium is a unique museum and is participatory in nature. The starkness, the quietness will make you introspect about yourself, your inner feelings towards humanity and its diverse nature and the unfortunate clashes we live with. This is an experience one must go through.
