Don't bother, it's a simple temple in Diu that you might not rank highly on experience or grandeur. Spend time at INS Kukhri, Nago beach and St. Paul's Church instead.

It is a temple along the bank of Arabian sea. The most alluring thing about this temple is that the shivlings are frequently washed by the sea tides. A beautiful place to visit in Diu.

according to me ... best time to visit this place is sunset time.. amazing view of sunset from gangotri temple. and if you are lucky enough shivling will not be cover with sea water

Very good place to visit Gangeshvar temple, Gangeshvar temple is made by By PANDAVs when thay are underground and that 5 shivlig is in sea and automatically come sea water to li gas, most visited place in DIU.

I think any days are good. We visited a few days after full moon. It's amazing. I dont think one can predict those days but usually associated with full moon.

Yes,it is probably closed only during heavy rains with high tide when the shivling are submerged . Right now there is hardly any rains. Water sports will be at Nagoa beach and it also depends on the climate. Next week should... More
