Black coarse sand, muddy water, no waves, litter everywhere.. infact this implies to all beaches in Daman.. Beaches in Goa are Million times better..The solo reason people come to Daman is Cheap liquor, i guess..

Around 4-5 km away from Devka beach, this beach is much cleaner and has a number of shacks lining the shore. Parking is available but have heard it can get a mess during peak seasons.

Jampore beach is black sand beach from Daman. It consists of water sports and many snacks shacks. All most all shacks also offer seafood and liquor as well.Beach is not at all clean and if you are looking for clean beach with golden/brown/white sandy beach then better to avoid it.

Black sand beach ...must try nonveg served at shore outlets... crowd mainly visits for cheap drinks, beers....suggested with friends or as couple...definitely not a place for family outing.. Food offered includes chicken fry and prawns which are freshly made at local home like outlets...not suggestible if high standard hygiene is your basic criteria but definitely worth the taste!!

The beach is the most visited by tourists coming to Daman. The beach has completely black sand. The beach is plain and is good for taking a dip in waters. Number of shacks are lined up here. The water recedes really far in the morning. If anyone wants to enter the water, the best time to visit is around 12-4.

An avoidable place. It has some facilities like para sailing, But the overall beach is dirty with innumerable stalls selling junk food and exorbitant prices. Total put off.

Another black beach of Daman full of festivities, food and fun. Try reaching before 7pm in the evening if you want to taste good and fresh food in the stalls. A little expensive but the taste of the seafood will linger on. Gives you a very happy Goa like feel here. The only thing I didn't like here is the... More
