It is an average beach with black sand. Not at all clean & crowded normally with nearby Gujarati people from Surat, Vapi etc. Have shacks where you can get cheaper Daman liquor. There is also garden adjacent to the beach where people spend their weekends with family & friends.

Devka is the second beach in Daman. Many hotels are located right next to the beach. Some of the rooms have a good view of the sea. This is a very dirty black sand beach and is over crowded. Groups usually come here to booze so not recommended for families. There is a kids park though if you have nothing else to do but visit this place.

The beach is extremely crowded and dirty. Not maintained well. Needs to be upgraded and cleaned up. The sunset view in the evening is quite nice though.

The beach is quite average and could be much better. Further, the area is quite crowded and full of black rocks. Overall okay for visiting once.
