Brahmaputra is a huge beautiful river situated in Assam with a very long bank. When I visited Guwahati I walked down to this river. There is a temple in the middle of Brahmputra called Umanand, which is a Shiv Mandir.

Assam without visiting Brahmaputra River is futile. This mighty river certainly will amaze you for its vastness, one could easily pass an hour or two by cruising a boat or sitting on the banks .
