Tranquil Oasis by the Lake: Exploring the Charms of Lumbini Park, Hyderabad
👉🏻Lumbini Park in Hyderabad is a serene oasis nestled along the Hussain Sagar Lake, offering a picturesque escape from the bustling city life. The park's tranquil ambiance, coupled with stunning views of the lake and the iconic Buddha statue, creates a calming atmosphere for visitors. 👉🏻The park's highlight is the musical fountain show, a delightful spectacle that combines water, music, and lights, captivating audiences with its rhythmic synchronicity. The laser show, another attraction, adds a modern touch to the park's offerings, showcasing vibrant colors and engaging visuals against the backdrop of the lake. 👉🏻Boating facilities provide an opportunity to leisurely explore the lake while relishing the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape. The park also houses several eateries, making it convenient for visitors to grab a snack or a meal while enjoying the serene surroundings. 👉🏻However, at times, the park can get crowded, especially during weekends and holidays, which might diminish the peaceful experience it offers. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness could be improved to enhance the overall visitor experience. 👉🏻In conclusion, Lumbini Park is a charming destination in Hyderabad, offering a serene ambiance, scenic views, and engaging attractions like the musical fountain and laser shows. It's an ideal spot for a relaxed outing amidst nature, despite occasional crowds and cleanliness concerns.

    Unique Experience...
Nicely maintained. The main attraction is the boat ride to the Buddha Status in the middle of water. Out of the various option, we found the Speed Boat to be the best, as you get the thrill of the speedboat cruising through the waters of the lake. It cost Rs 400 for 4 persons. However, you cannot get down at the statue platform for a walk.

    Unhygienic and non functional restroom
This place lacks a good toilet facility. It has a paid restroom which is not at al usable. It’s very unhygienic . The locks of toilet doors are broken. No flush , no hand wash facilities. Why they are receiving fees for such non functional toilet?

The ticketing system at the park is a chaos and no proper information at the park. When we reached we paid just entry free at the park after standing in long queue for 30 mins. Then another long queue for Laser Show again 30 mins. And another long queue for Boat to Buddha Statue....Ufff.
The management should issue all the tickets at the main counter as per visitors choice and preferences. This will save a lot of time .
No organised Cloak Room to keeps bags. Please avoid keeping valuables in the bags. Bags are not allowed in the Laser Show and Boat to Buddha Statue.

The Laser Show is located in Lumbhini Park; on the banks of Hussainisagar lake; just adjacent to the Boat Club. There are 2 shows daily, one at 7:15 pm and the other at 8:30 pm. The queue for the 7:15 pm show starts building up from 6:00 pm onward. The lighting around was poor and there was only one person at the ticket counter who was doing a great job in handing over tickets – alternating between the gentleman’s line and the ladies line. However little said about the discipline in the line the better… be prepared for some hard core lesson in patience (at least it is free)! Each ticket costs INR.50/- and once you manage to wriggle yourself (and the ticket) out of the crowd, do not forget to deposit all your hand luggage (including hand bags, satchels, etc.) at the baggage counter for a nominal fee. Then figure out where the serpentine line to the entrance is – hopefully you will find a security around whistling for order, if you do, then that is the line you should take. Don’t rush or push around, there is enough space within the arena for sitting a thousand (if not more). The plastic seats within the arena are not comfortable, but better than sitting on a backless bench, and they are spacious enough.
Well now to the show…30 minutes in all; the first 5 minutes of which starts off brilliantly and then meanders off towards the history of Hyderabad… this is basically a supremely stretched and boring spectacle where a projector is used on the water jet background! This at a laser show is really despicable. The last 5 minutes is entertaining too... however, in my opinion, for just 10 minutes of entertainment (and nothing that is new), I would recommend that you spare yourself the trouble.
P.S. The sound and light spectacle at Bangalore (minus the laser show) was far better

Its like every normal park by a lake side , has some rides , some food stalls and boating . But what stands apart is the LASER show depicting the history of Hyderabad . And you can relax or wander around in the park . But if not going for the LASER i wouldnt recommend it as there are plenty other stuf to see in HYD. You can go to Birla Mandir and EAT street and other attractions by catching an auto infront of Lumbinin park.

Not that peaceful, but if you look at the area, where the park is located, then surely you will find it peaceful amid the hustle and bustle of the city. I had a steamer ride, which was fun.

One of the main attractions of the Lumbini Park is the giant clock at the entrance of the park which has been designed using various kinds of colourful flowering plants. Along with seasonal flowering plants, wide variety of cacti and rocks, the park also has many options to keep kids entertained. The Musical fountain and water cascades attract everyone. The sight of water shooting up to the sky, making a screen of water where the history of Hyderabad is being shown is something not many of us have seen before. It is an experience in itself. The best part of laser show is that just 3D. You will see a city created in 3D right at a park.

Musical fountain and the laser show at the Lumbini Park is something not to be missed. The timing of the musical fountain is from 6.30 P.M. and 8 P.M. As for Lumbini park laser show timings, it happens twice, at 7.15 pm and 8.30 pm.

From the park, one can also go for boating at the Hussain Sagar Lake and to the Buddha Statue in the middle of the lake. For boating there are two choices available for the visitors. If interested you can hire a speed boat at Lumbini park and enjoy an exciting ride in the lake. You will be offered life-jackets so safety is not a worry here. Other option is the ferry ride, which takes tourists to the massive statue of Lord Buddha in the middle of the Hussain Sagar Lake.

Lumbini Park Entry Fee
