Looking forward to a bit of culture to round off our stay, so we hot-footed it to the gallery, arriving at 17:15, on Sunday 1 July, fully 45 minutes before closing time. Only thing was it was closed. There were staff on the balcony in...More

Small art museum that has some very good pieces. There are two floors with local artists works from the regional area. Small but good for 45 min to an hour.

The interior of this small museum is a delight, like walking through a Rothschild 20th century chateau, and the spiral staircases are a delight to look at and walk on. Many colorful paintings here, to slowly meditate upon. Highly recommended for any trip to Batumi.

We entered this place hoping to get an intense look at local art depicting the culture, or perhaps landscapes of places in Adjara unseen, and instead we were faced with about two artists (not even local or Georgian) and a couple worn reproductions of other...More

Post modern and generally newly dated paints and some hand made articles can be seen in the museum. Here in fact is not a museum but art house. Entrance is paid.

soulful art work of Georgians.. Wish some of the staff did not act like bored government workers, very unsuitable behaviour for such a lovely place of profound art.

The building of the museum is nice. The permanent collection is interesting. The changing exhibition was by Israeli artist born in Batumi. His name is Avram Kon and his style is primitive.

With it's one small temporary and one small stable exhibition it took me about an hour to go through. Most of the artworks are from Georgian artists of 20th and 21st century. If you're interested in art or just looking for some indoor program due...More

We decided to come here on a rainy day since outdoor activities weren't an option. For 2 GEL per person, it was worth a stop. The collection is small and it only took us about 45 minutes to view everything, but some of the paintings...More
