Ghost Ranch is where Georgia O'Keeffe spent some of her middle years and all of her later years after husband died. We took the tour that showed the actual scenes that she painted. The tour also showed where she lived as well as much of the scenery of Northern New Mexico. The hills and mountains of Northern New Mexico are... More

Well, let's mark that off the bucket list. Riding a horse on the Georgia O'Keefe Landscape Trail at Ghost Ranch (outside of Abiquiu NM). Our guide was the knowledgeable, and charming, Emma. Our horses were Arthur, Sancho, and Kit (Arthur's best friend). The horses were beautiful and mellow. The ride was truly awesome. The scenery was breathtaking. And all was... More

We had a very enjoyable time on the landscape tour. Our guide Wendy was very knowledgable and answered all our questions very well. The landscape was beautiful and the tour tied the surroundings and O'Keefe's paintings together very well. Recommended.

I have now stayed here 3 times for several nights each visit. This is the place that best connects me with New Mexico. The rooms are comfortable. Food is good. You can truly experience the wonders of nature here.

The O'Keeffe landscape tour is OK. The problem with this venue is it is handled by a ticketing agent. The on-site facilities are limited. No place to actually get a light meal other than their dining hall which is fixed price and fixed menu - resembles college dining hall approach. The gift shop/coffee shop is nothing more than an over... More

Go and keep all your senses open to the humbling beauty that is Ghost Ranch. We have hiked Chimney Rock and Kitchen Mesa with our kids when they were various ages between 6 and 10. Great family hikes we will never forget. Go and behold one of the most magical places on earth!

We took rt 64 out of Taos North and looped all the way around until we got to Ghost Ranch, which took about 2 hours. The drive was beautiful though! There was a storm on the way in, so we didn't stay too long at the ranch, but it was lovely. We took a quick little hike up behind the... More
