Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

They made us pay TWICE our ferry tickets. We had made a booking though Fijibooking and for some reason they did not find it from their end. That kind of a system error obviously should not be customers problem but they forced us to pay it again by cash and also threatened us with a police because we didn't want to double pay our ferry tickets. Luckily Fijibooking paid us back but nobody refunded us the cash withdrawal fee and anxious feeling that their actions caused. So unprofessional!! Use Yasawa Flyer instead.

Unsafe and dangerous company - avoid!!! We booked the seabus from Yasawa islands back to the mainland. 3.5 hours late instead of picking us up in the main passenger ferry a rubber dingy picked up our young family. This rubber boat with small engine was overloaded with 9 people for the 70km boat trip back to Lautoka across open ocean in peak rain season. Soaked through with heat stroke, this is not a position I would ever put my 2 children in again. Strongly recommend the Yasawa Flyer. Safer larger and more professional outfit .

We caught the seabus hoping to leave yasawas and fly home in one day. It arrived at Nanuya about 40 mins late and there must have been a head wind or something. As most advertised trip times were 3 hours but we didn’t have many stops or other passengers but this took about 4 hours.
The boat itself is fine. Has a toilet, a top deck and lower deck. All open air. Cost was similar to the big ferry that goes to port Denarau.
Fine overall but I wouldn’t rely on it getting in before 4:30 if you are getting a flight or have some other connection.
Plenty of cabs met the seabus, it cost 40fjd to get to Nadi airport and took us half an hour. (We got there as they were making final calls for check in)

Reliable daily service to and from the Yasawas from Lautoka. Took expensive for locals to take frequently, but works for tourists who are only taking one trip out and back. Much more convenient than driving to Denarau if you are in Lautoka.

Travelled to nanayu resort with Seabus. Booking seamless rang them for both trips from our accomodation. They also arranged a taxi which happened to be the skipper to transport us into Nandi.
Cost is 190 dollar's one way. Found staff friendly and helpful. Boat also used by locals travelling up to yasawa islands. Great trip minimal stops to other resorts so both trips approx 3 hrs. We were on their bigger catamaran boat. I believe they also have a smaller boat which was currently being serviced.
Although we didn't purchase any they offer a small selection of snacks . Would suggest you take your own and bring water bottle.
Trip back was a little choppy but To be expected in the type of boat we travelled in and cross wind.
For us a quicker option than the other alternatives from Nandi port which can take 5+ hrs. We also stayed in Lautoka prior to the trip which appeared far less travelled by tourists. Great little town to explore.
Thanks Seabus team will definitely spread the word re your service

We decided to postpone our stay in one of the Yasawa's resort of one more day because we were assured that the Seabus would have run as usual, reaching Lautoka between 2 and 2.30 pm. Instead, the seabus arrived at the resort at 1 pm (2.5 hours late), dropped some people off another island which was not planned and reached Lautoka at 4.30, despite the perfect sea conditions.
They did not even apologized for the 2.5 hours delay.
Given that the price has just risen of 30% (190FJD one way for non-residents as of 1 May 2022, whereas in April 2022 was 150 FJD) without it being advertised anywhere, I would double think before taking the Seabus, especially if you need to get back to mainland at a certain time.

Cheaper alternative to go to the islands. Beware prices on the mobile version are not correct, make sure you go on the website or double check price by email.
Prices are between 134 to 144 from Lautoka to any island. They deserve almost all resorts and they are on time ( with us they left at 8:00 am from Lautoka) Transfer from your hotel to the boat in main island is complimentary.
Good alternative although is a rough trip, if you are looking for comfort and do not mind spending more money I would recommend to go with the other ferries ( south sea cruise, awesome adventures)

We came up on the flier and returned after 7 days at Nacula on the Seabus, all sea transport is expensive, but this worked out better for us.

Hi all,
we want to get from Nadi to Nacula with the Seeebus. How do we book that? Is that the cheapest option?
Thank you!

Hi, you can literally rock up at their quay and tell them which island you wanna go to. As far as I have in mind the boat departs at 9am. You will always catch a ride
The quay is in lautlos besides the sugar mill

Quisiera saber si el viaje en este Ferry hasta Blue Lagoon es muy movido y si produce mareos y vómitos a los pasajeros. Gracias por informarme

This is a catamaran ride between Coralview Island Resort and Lautoka. Since Coralview Island Resort is in the upper Yasawas, you will not get much sightseeing of the other islands. This seabus is mainly for transportation only.
