Definitely worth a visit if you like flora and fauna. The highlight is that the garden has almost all varieties of palm trees found all over the world.... currently 289 species! Nice labelling and informative pamphlet for the stroll through the garden.
A short bicycle ride from Savusavu town is the lovely gardens. You have call ahead to get in and 1-1.5 hours is enough to wander around. There are over 200 different species of palm trees. Nice view from the top of the stairs.

Phone them on +679 834 8314 to arrange a tour for your preferred time as otherwise they are usually at 2pm - but they don't get people every day so I am sure they would appreciate knowing you were coming. Or message them on their website or Facebook page. A taxi is FJ$ 4 to 6 each way. Ask your taxi driver to come back for you in 90 minutes or 2 hours as not many empty taxis pass for flagging down. Make sure you take your camera, as it is a wonderful place
