Gorgeous coral here must go with an underwater camera. I kept looking for sharks though little scary. There is shipwreck down there and lots of toilet pans sitting at the bottom quite funny

The beach is lovely, and snorkelling/diving great fun. The downside is if you are taking a dive boat from there - manic busy first thing in the morning, which can be hard in the heat (especially with children) Take plenty of water (and insect repellent!)

The beach which you pay to go on - I am staying at the Oriental Hotel - so will get a taxi to Sharks Bay
Hi my friends and I are visiting Sharm in October - we have been several times before but have never visited Sharks Bay beach. We are staying at the Oriental but to see the fish at the oriental it's a long walk down the jetty - and we are all 'mature' ladies! Can you walk into the sea at Sharks Bay beach and see the fish? Does the beach have easy access as one of our ladies does have difficulty walking? We are thinking of taking a taxi from the hotel and spending the day on Sharks Bay beach. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks Jenny

It´s perfekt for snorkeling. Go to the first beach, there are nice sunbeds and umbrellas plenty of space. Can also recommend the Restaurant/Cafe Raggio di Sole!
