Plesently surprised to see this mosque in old Sharm. It wasn't there when I was last here 10 years ago. We were able to pray Isha there when visiting Old Sharm.
A mosque usually has toilet facilities in order to perform ablution for prayer. We found a toilet around the back of the mosque charging $1, they were disgustingly dirty, very strong smell of amonia in the ladies, filthy dirty, the men's were very bad too. The toilets are rented out so not run by the mosque, had a big argument with the man taking the money! Ruined what would have been a lovely experience.

The photo is of the Shahaba Mosque in the old market area. very impressive architecture - located in the old city - great photo from the road leading down to the old city from Bank st/Il Mercato area. The Mustafa mosque is in another part of town.

A treat for the eyes in the midst of emptiness.
The Mustafa Mosque stands away from the center; many people confuse it with the main central Sahaba Mosque, which is located in the center of the Old City. I don’t understand how this is possible, completely different mosques, different architecture. People take you here as part of a sightseeing tour of the city, it’s worth a visit. I don’t like excursions, I took a taxi and visited all the places on my own, it’s a completely different atmosphere. There is a Coptic Church nearby, be sure to go there, it’s very beautiful)

This is the el Mustafa mosque. She's not in the old town. Her visit is included in the sightseeing tour from the tour operator. Of course no one lets anyone in. The mosque is beautiful, around a palm tree. You can go into the bathroom. There are taps, you can rinse your hands or feet. There are seals in the shadows. The tours give you 15 minutes to take a picture. When we were there, there were no locals. The mosque is the largest in the city and was opened in 2006.

Another mosque in Sharm el-Sheikh that I wanted to see was the El Mustafa Mosque. Built in 2006.
It is not so popular and is located far from tourist routes. It looks quite beautiful and even somehow airy, although it is inferior to Al Sahaba. There is a beautiful and well-groomed (!) small park around. But it’s a bit hot to walk there during the daytime - the palm trees don’t provide shade)) We couldn’t get inside. Having walked around, I did not find anything resembling, so to speak, a “public” entrance. And in general, not a single open door. Perhaps they open it up for locals to pray at a certain time... but for some reason people also prayed on the street...
If we took a taxi to the mosque from the hotel, we walked back. I wanted to look at it after sunset, backlit. But I didn’t dare)) The mosque is located in a vacant lot! Then empty streets with private houses, some abandoned construction sites and heaps of garbage begin. Tourists - we are the only ones in the whole area. Very uncomfortable. And not a single taxi is visible.
An ordinary tourist definitely shouldn’t go there on purpose.

Thank you very much to Roma (+201013201002) who helped us with the choice of excursions! through it we saw the beauty of not only the old city, but of course everything else. The prices were a pleasant surprise!!! Well, I can’t mention Banderos☺️well, that’s what everyone calls him there)

I'm not a fan of architecture or religious sites, but this mosque is something else. It's just so pretty! I could stare at it for hours. So many details. It's a new mosque, it's only 2 years old, but it's very beautiful. It's very well lit at night...it's looks like straight out of Arabian nights of 1001 night tales. It's also situated in the Old Town of Sharm which is an authentic part of town, nice to wander around.

This is not next to the old market so the reviews others have put are not correct.
The one near the old market is Sahaba mosque.
We got a taxi to this mosque for 5 euros. We only looked round from the outside as it was closed but the mosque is beautiful and we took loads of photos.
We walked to the heavenly church next which was stunning.
Worth visiting both if in sharm

The mosque is magnificent we were there in the evening it was just exceptional!
Lots of shops and restaurants nearby so you can go for a walk, refresh yourself and do some shopping.
It seems to me that it is possible to enter but I didn't have the appropriate outfit, too bad I would have really liked to see the interior architecture.
I stayed for a good half hour looking at this mosque because it is so beautiful.
A must-see place in Sharm el Sheikh.
Go for it!

This was one of the most beautiful mosques I have ever seen. It was truly magical. The people were also really friendly. We went for Friday prayers and it was really busy. Would really recommend this.
