The water park itself is great. There are a good amount of slides and as the water park was not busy we got straight on every one we went on. Despite this is still took a good few hours to get around most, so you can spend most of the day there. Food and drink is included in the price which is great and felt reasonable for the day we had. The life guards at the slides were lovely but Hassan was great, making us laugh most of the day. He even got my Mam on the bigger slides because of his encouragement and humour. As there are no lockers we left all belongings at our hotel, but after we would have felt safe enough to leave them on a lounger at the water park. The only down side is that on the booking confirmation emails it does not tell you that you need to bring ID such as a passport to enter the complex and which email you need to bring as proof of your booking, which is the one with the payment confirmation on. Despite a struggle and fight to get in, it didn't take away from the great day we all had.

This is a fantastic water park for all ages. We had our 3 grandchildren with us and their parents. The only issue is the pirate ship which would be great for their age group 2 to 4 years (probably up to 9) was so cold they couldn’t use it, these slides would’ve been amazing for them. Probably in the warmer months this would be good as the heat of the sun would be enough but not February when we went. No lockers but left our belongings by the sun loungers. We went with jaz saraya so unlimited access to the park.

We had a really fun time here with teens. There are lots of slides and it is all very well run and clean and new. There is a nice mix of slides and so many rides. One day we went and had no queues, it was amazing. The next time we went it was busy as it was Eid. Just one suggestion is to stop the closing for an hour for lunch, it’s inconvenient. Overall, Having done many water parks in Europe and beyond, this was great.

Very large and good slide park. Staff very friendly and something for every age group. Unfortunately, the ground heated up so much due to the sun that it was almost impossible to walk on it barefoot. And since you had to leave your slippers in front of the slides, you burned your feet on the way back. Mats would have helped there!

The Makadi water world which is connected to Jaz Aquaviva was an absolutely fantastic day out. There were 25 slides for Adults and 25 slides for children. All set out all very near to each other where there was not much walking to do. We had a 5 year old with us and we could not keep him out of the water, he loved the shark house and pirate boat slide. Toilets and changing rooms were immaculate. Near them a place where you can get water or juice. The food and drinks area was excellent and delicious. All inclusive beverages from 10-5, ( cola and diet, fanta, sprite, juice, water and a coffee machine). All inclusive snacks from 12-4, ( pizza, pasta, burgers, chicken shawarma, pastries and ice cream). All freshly cooked. Everything was spotlessly clean. There are plenty of sunbeds dotted about for you to sit and chill. The water park has life guards at the top and bottom of each slide. Health and safety was maintained all the time. All the staff knew their job and were kind and friendly and explained how to use each slide correctly. The Assistant Aqua Park manager, Ahmed Sedhom was fantastic , he was very knowledgeable and friendly , who spoke excellent English and was available at any time. The water park has excellent very high standard. You must go there to enjoy the thrills of this lovely water park. Fantastic family day out, it was amazing!

Great selection of slides, the kids pools and small slides looked good too. Was quiet when we visited so plenty of sunbeds available. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful. No real queuing system. Could be confusing to know which rings and mats were needed for each ride, lack of signage. And ground was hot so lots of people left flip-flops laying around. The large multi person rings were heavy to move up stairs and probably a significant hazard as easily dropped and could cause injury to others. But all in all a great free place to visit if included with your hotel.

The park itself is very nice for adults and children to enjoy. We have visited this place frequently every time we are in Egypt. We have always had fun but today experience was not that good. We had an awful start because of a lady named Rihab who’s the Sales Manager. She was extremely rude. We have arranged the entrance tickets with the agency but once arrived this lady was interrogating our children asking them for their ages. I mean why would you approach a child and ask her how old she was blocking her from entering whilst us parents were right next to you? How rude and disrespectful is that? After traveling in many countries I have never seen someone standing at the gate not even saying welcome to guests nor smiling but instead interrogating our children about their ages. That was simply unacceptable. She could address us parents who were standing right next to her and if she needed more money she could say so but the way she has done it was unacceptable. She was standing there and saying she is the manager and she is in charge. If she is the manager than it’s a shame she should act by example. I did try to speak to the waterpark manager but unfortunately I couldn’t reach him but instead I spoke to Abdelhamid who was apologetic about his colleagues behavior and tried to calm the situation down but I would like this not to happen to any family or child again. Although most staff were nice friendly especially the life guards and the guys in charge of slides are all amazing there but that lady Rihab wasn’t. All in all Makadi is a very nice water park especially for families with children. It’s a shame we had a bad experience today from the start by the sales manager after visiting for 7 times.

This is our second visit to Makadi water world this year. Yet again we all had an amazing time there. Had a 12 year old and a 4 year old with us and you can’t keep them out of the water! They absolutely loved the shark house and pirate ship slides. They want to go back again! The lifeguards round the children’s areas are on the ball, all are very friendly and helpful with the kids, also on the adult slides, all staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable , this must be from the excellent training from The aqua park manager and assistant aqua park manager, we were lucky to meet them both again, both such lovely guys and speak excellent English. The aqua park as very high standards. The place itself is a beautiful area with lots of sun beds dotted about to sit and relax if you wanted. We went in a busy time of the year and there were plenty of beds free. The toilets and changing rooms are spotlessly clean. The restaurant area is near by where you can get drinks including, water, cola, sprite, fanta, tea and coffee. You can get a selection of fresh pastries all day long, lunch from 12 to 4, you can get pizza, burgers, hotdogs, chicken shawarma, sandwiches and ice cream. Go and see for yourself what a great place it is to go!

Me and my wife took the kids (8&5) here for the day during our holiday in Hurghada. The day at the water park was amazing. We had originally heard about this from sales reps round our hotel pool trying to charge £60gbp per person. However, a google search and we payed closer to £50 for the whole family. In terms of travel we used uber and again £12 there and back including tips, for the driver. The only thing that tourists from the UK and Europe might find intense is the security checks. They have mirrors checking under vehicles security checking car boots. They also confiscated/ taken our passport whilst we visited - this I disagree with. I got this back when leaving but that was after the security not being sure if he had our passports. I don’t see the need in holding our passport. In truth the security checks just ensure its safe to visit. The visit includes drinks, lunch (pizza, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches and salad) and snacks (ice cream, fruit and pastries). You can get lockers and towels for an extra charge. The woman at the entrance to the park was very pleasant seen me cuing with sales reps, asked me to stand aside checked my number and had me bypassing the wait and into the park in <5 minutes. She was nice and helpful. There are plenty of slides to pick from with pools varying for ages. Cues 2-3 minutes for some slides. The only negative is having to carry the inflatables (which you ride on) up several flights of stairs. They have a good weight. But honestly its not unreasonable. Great day out, appears to be part of a real luxury hotel chain. I will be back on my next visit.
