We went for a couple of meals, drinks and walks during our time in Gouna. Having been to Gouna before I felt that the marina isn’t what it used to be with many of the restaurants having changed and the buzz somewhat lacking. It remains clean and well cared for with a mixture of cuisines and plenty of shops.

Very nice marina, you can have a walk and see impressive boats. Along the marina you can find many restaurants and shops. My impression is that they are better than in El Gouna downtown. Prices are quite high. Some places have live music which creates pleasant atmosphere. We were there on Sunday evening and it was calm and relaxing.

A beautiful place to visit, we are lucky to have the Marina on our doorstep, we stay in TCOV hotel and walk around the Marina each morning, the people are so friendly I sometime walk alone and it is safe to do that. The cafes and restaurants are buzzing in the evenings with local people and tourists. El Gouna is a hidden gem on The Red Sea. The Marina is full of beautiful Yachts.

Beautiful area, well maintained and very clean. The marinas and boats are spectacular, the shops nice and individual. Loads of restaurants and bars unfortunately it’s very quiet in February apart from weekends. It’s a nice place to walk around, very safe, people are friendly.

One of the greatest locations in Gouna is Abu Tig Marina. Great bars and restaurants, a variety of stores, and a lovely area to stroll and observe people and boats. From Cairo, Gouna is a veritable haven of tranquility. incredibly neat, well-planned, and organized. Abu Tig and Gouna are genuinely a mental state.
