Pleasant

Some of the other reviews are a little unfair, yes, it's not very big, but as we were informed very few tourists visit Ismailia. There are some interesting artifacts from different periods in history and a lovely mosaic. The staff were very helpful.

Poor museum nice staff

The museum is one long room without much of a running theme. However, the staff were very obliging and the setting in the garden in pleasant.

Neglected!

Very dusty and neglected museum - nothing really to see. They could have documented the illustrious visits happened in Ismailia in the past . A missed opportunity as there is not much to see besides the Suez Canal.

Not worth it

Unfortunately , it has nothing inside to see, you will only see the building, and some of the Khedewi Ismail belonging, but most of the stuff was stolen or emptied long ago. enjoy the architecture and garden

Not much to see

Not much to see, waste of time and energy. Actually, Ismailia has nothing to see, just Suez Canal and away from city noise.

small but interesting

Tiny but worth a visit!

I would call it the smallest museum in the world! Saying that, there is so much inside to look at, I was amazed! Information in Arabic and English but covered it all in about 20 minutes!

Worlds smallest museum?

The taxi-drivers didnt know where it was. Once there, the staff didnt know where the tickets was. Probably was the first visitor in a very long time. The museum is very small, maybe 100 sqm. Contains only artifacts from faraonic, roman and greece times. Absolutely...More
