Salinas Malecon has many wonderful restaurants, vendors offering anything from food and beer to seating and umbrellas. There are vendors offering scenic boat trips, wave runners, kayak and paddle board rentals to name a few. It is a full service entertainment area.

My girlfriend and I went to visit another girlfriend of ours. We stayed at Chagana Lodge Hostal, this was our 3rd time staying there. We had Breakfast at Jazz Cafe and Lunch at Jimmy's. The Malecon was set up for Christmas.

Nice walk, not too crowded today. Got some great prices from the local street vendors, on purses and sunglasses. There are public bathrooms available (free of charge) but you do have to take your own toilet paper.
