Lots of choices for a great lunch right on the beach! Long sandy beach. Easy parking! If you are not used to driving a standard, the hills in and out of Santa Marianita will be a challenge!

If visiting during the week it will be pretty quiet. Many of the restaurants are closed during the week. We found Willys II to be open and their fried fish was excellent. There is also access to bathrooms there which may seem hard to find...More

People looking to get out of Manta often go here. Over promised and under delivered. I have no idea why this beach is so popular.

This isn't like other beaches in Ecuador... it feels like you are living in a dream while here. The area is better suited to kite surfing than playing on the beach with young kids as the waves break so close to the shore and the...More

Clean beach with huge waves. Best for good swimmers or waders. Stop at the Donkey Den for breakfast and then enjoy your day on this gorgeous part of the planet.

Lots of kite surfing to watch on this beach. Lovely, long and gorgeous sandy beach to enjoy walking on. Great little grass-shack restaurants right on the beach ! 20 minutes from Manta and worth the drive !

We eat the seafood all the time and love it. It is fresh caught and very tasty. Everything is served with rice. Water is bottled water and every little eatery has it. Don't drink tap water though.
