Yellow thin Tuna, Sword fish, cod and many other colorful fishes at 3 dollars a pound, you cannot get it wrong. Best place to see your first Sea lions, Pelicans, Regattas and Iguanas, they love it too!

The Santa Cruz Fish Market is more of a booth with a few locals selling fish from the day. We bought a large amount of tuna at a decent price (great for a meal!), but I wouldn't get your hopes up if you think this...More

The market had some amazing looking fish! We were cruising so we couldn't buy anything but it was all so FRESH! There was a local sea lion and a pelican looking for any dropped pieces - too cute! Great photo opportunities!

Fun place to watch sea lions begging for fish bits. Small but authentic feel of fish market added an old world taste in restaurant district.

Just great interactions within the town of sea lions patiently waiting under the fish counter for a little bite from the fishers. Pelicans also hanging out. Benches near the fish market had a sea lion taking a nap next to locals hanging out.

We were in Santa Cruz and we could not help it, but see the fishermen bring in their daily catch. Simple, yet so fresh.

A daily event, this is a great place to see the sealion and many pelicans along with a few frigates and a heron compete for the occasional piece of fish skin or guts. Go before noon, earlier is better, but they mostly fold up by...More

We enjoyed watching a sea lion, a heron, and some pelicans hoping for a snack. There were also a lot of iguanas hanging out in the area.

Much like the rest of the Galapagos, humans have to live in close proximity to different wildlife, which is no more apparent than the Fish Market. Sea lions, pelicans, gulls, herons, finches and marine iguanas surround the fishmongers, who have to fillet fish and swat...More

Midday to late afternoon seemed to be when it was busiest, and when the sea lions came to play!
