Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice sandy beach with clear water and beautiful views but lacks of shade. There are many birds to watch and also some see life such as turtles, sharks, rays but little bit far away from the beach. This is a small beach without many shade. Easy to get but you need to take a water taxi 0,80$ and then walk about 5 minutes, it is same direction as to Las Grietas which is further along,

This is one of the few places in the area that can be enjoyed alone and without a guide. The beach is rarely crowded, and there is a good number of birds and wildlife around. I frequented this beach during my 2 month stay in the Galapagos.
While birdwatching there were definitely species I saw here and no where else. You'll need to be patient but it's worth it.

It’s a nice place to visit and you don’t have to go too far to get there. Just take a taxi boat and walk a little. Most likely to see turtles and sharks will be further away from the beach, behind the first rocks. There you will see more activity in the water. It’s really nice.

This is a beautiful small beach with easy access from Puerto Ayora. Get on the water taxi, which will cost $.80. It will take you a short way, then a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Look out for iguanas on the path! Not much for shade or amenities at the beach but a few hotels at the dock if you want to grab a drink or food.

Combine this beach with a trip to Las Grietas, and you have yourself a pleasant (and affordable) day in the Galapagos. It's close enough to town to come back for food and to get out of the sun during the hottest part of the day and go back in the afternoon along the way to / from Las Grietas. Better than El Garrapatero because the beach is basically as nice but it costs less than $1 to take a water taxi across the bay vs. $30+ to get to El Garrapatero.

We stopped here arfter going to Las Grietas. Compared to the the water in Las Grietas the water here felt almost steamy. We had our goggles so we were able to swim around and look under the water. The further out you go the more you will see. We saw rays and turtles. It was very nice. The water is also shallow and calm, so it is great for children. Bring towels, sun block, water and snacks. There is nothing to buy here, so you will need to have everything with you.

We didn't have enough time to go to Tortuga Bay and visited this beach on the recommendation of our hostel manager. Took a water taxi for 60 cents per person to the dock and walked ~5 minutes to the beach. The water was warm and the beach was sandy but it is a small beach. There were mosquitoes and spiders in water. We did see some wildlife here.

Why would you even call that a beach. It is dull, small, and not pretty. It's only a walk through when you go to Las Grietas. I wouldn't hang out there on a beach day...

If you're visiting this beach for swimming, you have to go during high tide, otherwise just chill around or under the trees by the shore. I swam with an eagle ray here... Visibility was not great though.

...ojala puedas
