Las Ninfas is a natural water inlet, National Park Area right in town. Lovely quiet walk around the water and beautiful mangroves. Fish in the water and finches as well. The boardwalk is not a loop, just a nice, easy short walk.

The lagoon is quite small and takes 10 minutes to walk around (it’s not circular so you have to walk back the way you came. We arrived and there were locals being loud, ignoring the signs, which somewhat ruined the atmosphere, however I wouldn’t spend...More

Hidden spot perfect for relaxing after a day tour or for a morning walk. There is signage along the way that explains the mangrove ecosystem. There are several docks to sit and view the landscape. Our kids were able to play around and spot fish....More

There is nothing too special about this place, but it's right in the middle of town, so it's easy to visit. You can see some baby shark in the water and the mangroves are beatiful. Anywhere else it would be a really nice place, but...More

We had such a pleasant walk here in the middle of the city. The three types of mangrove were very healthy.

We ere the only ones here - everyone else heads for Turtle Bay. However, this peaceful and secluded lagoon is actually in Puerto Ayora, but not well signposted at all. It is certainly worth a visit, and is really easy to walk round using the...More

This is the kind of spot you visit for a quiet peaceful encounter with nature and yourself. Don't expect to encounter lots of wildlife, this is a meeting between you and the water of the lagoon.
