Three of us did a discovery dive with Macarron (Juan-Carlos) at North Seymour early August, 2018. It was my first dive and the girls had one under their belt so it is fair to say we were absolute beginners. Our reservations were quickly put at...More

Guides are good, lunch served after the day in a restaurant. Nice people, nice owner, stopped on the way back to see animals (whales, dolphins). Dived two days with them and all was perfect.

These guys are the ducks nuts. We got 4 incredible dives at a good price. The crew were helpful and efficient, but at the same time very chilled, but gave us plenty of info about the dives. They insisted on an 8m check dive to...More

I have been diving in quite some first class dive spots around the world, but this one is without a doubt at the top of my list - the wildlife here is the best you will find. It being 5 years since my last dive...More

We wanted to dive at Gordon Rocks, so we went there and at the beginning everything seemed fine. The reason why we choose the Macarron dive center were the good reviews online. Just that the shop offers land tours on its website, the woman in...More

All in all ok service. They forgot our lunch(we had lunch when we came back to the diveshop) and the guide was clearly drunk. I could smell the strong smell of alcohol of her breath, she had a hard time concentrating and she failed to...More

We will be coming to the Gallapagos next week. We are PADI certified divers. We have dived all over the world – Great Barrier Reef, Palau, Belize, etc. But we have not taken a dive trip for at least 5 years. We would like to dive the best places in the Gallapagos. I am concerned about the cold. (I wear a wetsuit in 70 degree Caribbean water.) I’m afraid the water might be too cold for me. But I would like to try diving to see if I can tolerate the water temperature. a) Do we need to take a refresher course to dive after such a long time? Do you offer one? What is the cost? Does that include all necessary gear? b) If we decide to dive, can you describe what your offering would be? What is the price? Does that include all necessary gear? Wetsuits? Dive computers? Thank you for your response.

Hello Judith, I was diving with Macarron scuba and I recomend them 100%. You don't need a refresh course and they take you to a 'practice' zone before you go to the real dive. They include all gear and very good quality but... More
