Amazing destination, would recommend booking your tours upon arrival to the islands (from the main island) because you can haggle the prices down, unless of course you are doing a sailing/ferry trip.

It is a very long walk from the entrance to the beach and a long walk along the beach to the sea pool but well worth it. Iguanas here and a fantastic view of beach and sands.

I live in Florida, surrounded by beaches, but this white sand beach surpasses All beaches!! The forest of the Opuntia Cactus and the volcanic rock, the view is overwhelming!! You will see finches, lava lizards, marine iguanas, yellow warblers, to name a few. Snorkeling is the best in the world!! Enjoy.

The walk from the main street is beautiful about 2km in distance to the beach, but what a beach with golden sand and marine iguanas. Well worth the trek.

Good place to relax and swim/snorkel although we only saw many beautifull fishes and even sharks at the little bay at the end of the big beach just before you enter the little beach which is supposed to be the tortuga bay where all the people are. Just before that tou see a little bay where the water is much... More

The more time I spend in the Galapagos, the more I am in love with their unique beauty. Great diving.

The beach is beautiful with lots of white sand and enough space to spread out. The walk to the beach takes 40 minutes but is worth it, and the trail is in good condition, it's a paved stone pathway. Make sure to bring your camera, there are ALOT of marine iguanas, crabs, and we did see a couple of seals.... More

We were worried at first about the 40 minute walk to the beach, but it was all worth it when we saw the beach. The sand was so soft we wanted to roll around in it. We saw some HUGE iguanas that didn't seem to mind us being there at all. We took a dip in the refreshingly cold water... More

Wonderful beach, great wildlife, but be prepared to hike. Trail is in good condition, but undulates out to the beach and there are several minor climbs. Not a stroll, but worth the workout.

Beautiful!! It was a great walk and definitely worthwhile. We saw many sea iguanas and sea birds. We were early enough to have the place all to ourselves for an hour or so.
