Make sure you dive in the Galapagos & go with S.I. Superb.

An excellent choice for diving in the Galapagos. The 2 dive boats they operate are very comfortable, everything is done for you, lunch is pleasant and they drive across Santa Cruz often to board the boats which thankfully reduces unnecessary ocean time. I would highly recommend SI, it's certainly not cheap (but nothing is in the Galapagos) but you feel... More

After hearing great things about Scuba Iguana, I was terribly disappointed in the service & professionalism of the crew & guides - and I was shocked to experience a severe intentional safety risk on their watch. However, before I relay my experience let me say that for beginner divers this is a great option. They do a thorough dive briefing,... More

Congratulations to Mr. Hemphill for his experience and accomplishments in diving, surely more than my own. Our questionnaire and release forms include information like health, dietary restrictions and dive experience. The Instructor Guides have this information. We have seen more than a few very experienced divers surprised and challenged by the dive conditions in Galapagos. Big animals, cold deep water,... More

I am not a several hundred dive person, but I am certified and have put in my fair share of diving. This was the best experience ever and I would highly, HIGHLY, recommend them to anyone wanting to dive. The Dive Masters were the best. Very helpful, kind, accommodating. Great experience!

With scuaba Iguana I got the PADI open water certification and I did my exercises under water with a great Manta passing by which wa just breathtaking!! The Dive Guides are easy going and funny and make sure that you are safe while having fun and the rest of the team was very cool and supportive. Can't wait to go... More

Super staff who are ready to make your dives a great experience. The boat crew and dive leaders have an efficient system down for organizing the daily dives. The staff was attentive to the level and experience of the divers in the group, planning out the dives accordingly. The meals/snacks provided are perfect. I have a dietary restriction (Celiac) that... More

I had not been SCUBA diving in over 30 years but thought why not try again! My friend was an experienced diver and our travel agent suggested SCUBA Iguana. Our dive guide Jimmy was with us for 2 days and Quike was with us the third. Jimmy was patient and helped me remember all my diving techniques. The crew at... More

Generally, the experience with Scuba Iguana was not great and I'm surprised by all the very high reviews. The dive guides (specifically Paulo and Sebastian) and boat crew (Danny) are all awesome and hard working and made the trips fun and enjoyable - however, the shop itself doesn't seem to have their act together. Plus, I agree with a recent... More

Adanag began the reservation process in early November, communicating with our online sales person Claudia. Claudia sent the pertinent info as Adanag changed the tour plan several times. They finally settled on an adventure package including diving, kayaking, bicycling, and a gamefishing and snorkel boat trip. Scuba Iguana operates scuba diving. All the rest must be subcontracted. Their final voucher... More

I had two days dive with scuba iguana! I didn't have time to look around for prices but i'm sure it is one of the most expensive dive center in puerto ayora! i think the journeys were too expensive for what is the service! The boat is nothing luxury, the food for lunch is good but not choice, you have... More

Freddyone came to us as a beginning diver with 6 previous dives. We had an Instructor Guide for each group of 4 divers, plus another Instructor Guide privately contracted by 2 divers. Our website and brochures and the boat at the dock outside the dive shop don't offer luxury, which is not after all to be expected within the technical... More

This is a relatively small dive shop, but it is considered by many locals to be the best dive operation on the island. I was traveling for a week on a National Geographic boat in the Galapagos Islands, and was looking to arrange a dive at Gordon Rocks. Claudia was responsive and helpful in all my e-mails before-hand, and when... More

Guide were very professional, they helped everyone put on the equipment, everyone get off and back on the boat, making life very easy for every one on board. My dive guide also took photos of me with the sharks without me even asking for them. So grateful. :) :) What an experience !!
