You must hire a guide with you to see this area and the boat ride to get there is long but it is definitely worth it. I can not express with words how beautiful everything is there, you must see it with your own eyes!

Punta Pitt was one of the highlights of our time in the Galapagos. The Blue Footed Boobies were amazing. The hike up from the beach was beautiful. The landscape was amazing. Do not miss Punta Pitt.

The bird life and activity here is simply amazing. Saw this while on the 360 tour. Bring a camera as you will see an amazing variety of birds. We saw a large pod of dolphins as we approached here as a bonus.

This dry landscape offers great opportunities to get close to nesting blue-footed and red-footed boobies. Stunning landscape. Take water as this can be a hot trail.

What an amazing walk it was. After leaving the beach and the colonies of bachelor sea lions, we climbed what was a very steep and at times tricky path to the top of the cliff, where our walk became more leisurely. We were struck by...More

From the interpretation center, the path takes us to a well-maintained trail towards the coast. I do not know how long but we hiked a good (almost) two hour hike all along the different viewpoints. These viewpoints are a slight climb up and gives you...More

Our hike to Punta Pitt started with a wet landing and then proceeded inland. Good hiking shoes are useful on this walk, be sure to bring a towel so you can have your shoes off when disembarking in a wet landing and then clean your...More

First day, first island and first stop and I see amazing wildlife. Wonder is this the start and going to get better or become a anti climax as we go along to visit other island. Saw many kinds of birds, sea lions, crabs.
