if you are lucky you will see a pelican but the Papa statue is most underwhelming - such a pity given the location

Climb some 300 steps to get a great view of Dili. Best done in the morning before you bake in the Sun.

In the dry season the water dries up and the dust comes in. Not many birds. This could be a really nice lake if some work was done on it.
