Kastav is a cute little hilltop town, there are places to eat and drink, but the best part is the trails just behind the town through the forest where you can even rent horses for some more adventurous horseback riding. We live nearby and signed...More

We had a car and wanted to see a bit more of the countryside. It is a lovely quiet medieval town and we enjoyed walking around the narrow streets and soaking up the atmosphere.

Croatian friends took us up to Grad Kastav and the view alone was worth it. Really quaint old buildings and a never finished church!

Kastav is a pearl. If you hate parking problems, come in the evening. The view is always gorgeus. And the walk along a few narrow streets. Authentic. If you can, don’t miss evening concerts of any kind.
