It's quite steap to go from the beach to this church. But very much worth it. It's very sober, which we like. Happy we did the effort to walk to it (we are not very mobile)

The climb to the church is quite steep, but the view from the top is beautiful. The church interior is basic with little decoration, but this creates an atmosphere of reverence. The dome is wonderful to note from out- and inside

For old church lovers, nice small church in Opatija, almost in the center, 300 meters uphill, behind Remisens Hotel Palace Bellevue and shopping center Slatina.

Main church of Opatija grandiose outside but very modest inside. Nevertheless worth visiting. The view from the hill is spectacular.

The church is impresive, positioned on the hill above promenade and Slatina beach. It is demanding to climb the number of stairs to reach the church entrance but it is must see place.

My wife and I enjoy visiting churches to see their design and artwork. This church is very unique for its brickwork and simplicity.
