The plateau does not offer touristic attractions except for the cathedral which is really worth visiting. Most restaurants are closed in the evening or during the week, so social life on the plateau is very limited.

The Plateau is Abidjan's beating heart. It's the business area but with plenty of good quality residences. It's a great place to stay when visiting Abidjan

Like most places in africa, the place smalls and is dirty, people urinate in the street, there's rubbish not far away and don't even think of eating outside a western hotel unless you like contracting typhoid fever.

There is a lot of activity during the day. After office hours it is quiet - read dead. There is am quite a few good restaurants and one or two sights. But unless you have something specific there - don't bother
