We enjoyed the small but informative historical Absecon Lighthouse. Very interesting history and pictures. We did not do the walk up all the stairs. Nice souvenirs and enjoyed seeing community garden spots being utilized!

This lighthouse sits behind the massive casino's which seem to hide it. It is worth seeing, if only to remember the history of these wonderful buildings!

Not to far from the boardwalk about two blocks off the end. Very well kept grounds with postings outside showing/explaining the history of the lighthouse and keepers dwelling. Cheap price if you want to climb the 228 steps to the top. Go on the website...More

This is a good place to kill an hour or two . Interesting to learn its history, and the history of the area. You have to be semi in shape to climb to the top but its worth it .

I love the way this was restored and it is now a very well kept lighthouse. There is a lot of history here and a nice shop.

Yes, there is a charge if you want to go to the "top" and do a viewing of the area. Plus the volunteer who is up there, gives you a great story about the area and the lighthouse itself. Cost was $7.
